NOTES FOR COMPETITORS
May we remind Competitors that they must notify the results of their matches to their Area Secretary immediately after the game, in the first instance by telephone, followed by a correctly completed Score Card in accordance with the National Championship Rules within 24 hours. Failure to do this may result in you being eliminated from the competition.
Will Clubs and Competitors please make themselves aware of the National Championship Rules for 2010 - 2011 as published in the E.I.B.A./E.W.I.B.A. Handbook
It is important that Competitors notify any changes of Address and Telephone Numbers to their Area Secretary and the EIBA Headquarters immediately.
No extension will be granted beyond the closing dates of the rounds without the agreement in the first instance of the Area Secretary and then if necessary the Chairman, EIBA Ltd Competition Sub-Committee.
Payment of Rink Fees - See National Championship Rules - Rink Fees
The attention of all Competitors is drawn to all National Championship Rules as printed in the EIBA Ltd Handbook 2010/2011. Particular attention should be given the position with regard to wheelchair competitors.
The wearing of Coloured Shirts in the Championship Finals is permitted provided that:-
1. The shirt has been registered with the EIBA Ltd by the Player's Club.
2. In team events all team members must wear the same design of shirt.
In some Areas you will see from the Draw that certain Competitors are required to play up to two more games than others. This apparent "inconsistency" is caused by the decision of the clubs to split their Area into 2 sections. If you have any comments on this arrangement please write in the first instance to your Area Secretary.
FINAL STAGES OF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS - SEASON 2010-2011
All Area Finals must be completed not later than the closing date of the Round shown in the Draw for the Championships.
All Area Finals to be played on a NEUTRAL GREEN to be arranged by the Area Secretary. If the finalists are from the same Club they may by mutual agreement play on their own Green with the rink being allocated by the Area Secretary.
The Champion of Champions Area Final will be followed by an Inter-Area Final between two neighbouring areas to arrive at 16 National Finalists. This will be played on a neutral green on a date to be determined by the Area Secretary. The Final Stages will take place at Warner Lakeside Resort from 5th to 7th February 2010.
The Competitors who qualify for the Final Stages of the National Championships will play their first matches as shown in the Programme printed in this booklet.
